Nike and 3D-printing partner Zellerfeld keep their futuristic run going with the Air Max 1000.2 "Glacier Blue" — a stealth-black, fully printed slip-on with one icy detail that steals the show.
Building on the original Air Max 1000, the 1000.2 refines the outsole geometry and — the real story — speeds up Zellerfeld's printing process, so Nike can push new colorways at a faster clip while keeping that soft, one-piece underfoot feel.
Design & aesthetic
The "Glacier Blue" makeup runs a jet-black base and lets the shoe's fluid, printed architecture do the talking:
- 3D-printed monolithic upper — a seamless, laceless slip-on printed as a single piece with variable material densities for breathability and support, no stitching or overlays.
- Sculpted ridges & debossed branding — wave-like contours and subtle debossed Swooshes nod to Air Max heritage.
- The focal point — a vibrant Glacier Blue Air unit set into the black sculpted heel, a sharp frozen contrast against the blackout build.
