The drop

Jordan Brand is reviving one of the most coveted 4s ever made. The Air Jordan 4 'Laser' Pack is expected February 2027 — the 'White Laser' and 'Black Laser' together in one two-pair set for $500, reportedly packaged in a Michael Jordan face box. It's the first true return of the 2005 duo, and early word is quantities will be very limited.

Why these two matter

The originals dropped in 2005 for the Air Jordan line's 20th anniversary, with laser-etched artwork burned across the uppers — a technique Nike designer Mark Smith pioneered, tying the 4 into the storytelling language of the Air Jordan XX. The White Laser runs a white leather base with Fire Red-style blocking, black accents, and etched graphics head to toe. The Black Laser flips it: black leather, red laces and lining, grey heel and midsole hits, and light green eyelets. The 2005 'Black Laser' in particular barely released at all — it's been a grail for twenty years.
